I have brought my car here on 3 occasions, mainly because they are the shop closest to my house. First two were fine, they diagnosed and fixed my car and I paid what I had to. The 3rd time I went in (last week), i stopped in on my way home to see if they had time to diagnose my car, as my gear shift was getting locked in park on my Honda. They said they had time and diagnosed the issue in 5 minutes as needing a new break shift light, the owner of the shop (or the guy who runs the office) told me it would be about $240 to repair before taxes. I told him I get a discount on parts and would prefer to bring the part in myself, he then rolled his eyes at me, and told me "Well if you do that then you can go and find somewhere else to put it in too" then stormed off, then proceeded to charge me 75$ for the 5 minutes of time they spent on my car. The mechanics were all nice and my issue wasn't with them, but the attitude from the man who runs the office wasn't appreciated. I realized I wasn't going to pay $240 for something that would cost me 25$ for the part, and 10 minutes to install, I understand they are a business and mark up costs on parts but my main issue was with the attitude from him, as I am not going to willingly pay 250$ for something I know I can pay $50 total for. The attitude made me want to avidly avoid coming here again in the future.
